Every facet catches a different quality of light — morning gold, afternoon amber, evening shimmer — and every ridge holds a row of individually placed studs that took time we were glad to spend.
The base came from thinking about what a diamond looks like before it's set — all those flat planes meeting at edges, each one at a slightly different angle to the light. I wanted the same optical effect at furniture scale. The nailhead studs along each ridge were added last, almost as a signature — they turn a geometric object into something that has clearly been handled, worked on, cared about.

At our Bangalore atelier, the faceted base is precision-cast and finished before each ridge receives its row of individually placed nailhead studs. The process is slow and deliberate — a jewellery-making tradition applied to furniture scale, where every flat plane is polished and every stud is hand-set.

Electroplated or highly polished gold finish travels every surface — each facet plane, every ridge, the cylindrical stem, and the circular top — creating a jewellery-grade shimmer at furniture scale. ::
Nailhead Ridge Detailing
Individual metallic studs are hand-set along every facet ridge line — a labour-intensive decorative technique that requires precise spacing, secure setting, and patience that machine production cannot replicate. ::
Gem-Cut Pedestal Engineering
A stable, non-wobbling single pedestal from a multi-faceted geometric form requires precision casting or CNC milling — the structural challenge produces the exceptional silhouette.
