Daffodil Sofa — Austins Daffodil Sofa - Austins

Three angles. One bold yellow. The Daffodil is here.

"The mustard yellow was the commitment the Daffodil required. A bold colour at that scale demands consistency — in the dye, in the cut, in the panel seaming. The three-angle headrest came from realising that the person who buys a sofa this yellow also wants to be comfortable in their own particular way."

The Making of the Daffodil Sofa

Designed by Harsha

The Daffodil was designed for the buyer who has already decided to make the room interesting. The mustard yellow leather-look and three-angle headrests are not compromises — they are the whole idea.

01

Mustard Leather-Look

Smooth semi-gloss mustard yellow across both pieces — uniform colour saturation demands precise dye consistency from panel to panel. The bold yellow earns every square centimetre of its presence. ::

02

Three-Angle Headrest

The per-seat three-position hinge mechanism is carefully integrated within the upholstery so it operates cleanly without visible gaps or bunching in any of the three positions — 0°, 45°, or 90°. ::

03

Chrome Arc Legs

Slim chrome arc legs are bolted to a base plate within the sofa frame. The semi-circular sweep is both aesthetic and functional — the arc form distributes load while adding visual elevation.

Frequently Asked

Before You Order

How long does it take to make the Daffodil Sofa?
6–8 weeks from order confirmation. We build one piece at a time — frame first, then upholstery, then a final hand-finish — so the timeline reflects real bench-time, not warehouse stock.
Can I customise the dimensions, leather, or wood?
Yes. Almost every dimension can be adjusted within structural limits, and the leather and wood swatches shown are starting points — speak to a designer if you'd like us to source something specific.
How does delivery work, and where do you ship?
We deliver across India with white-glove placement included. International shipping is available on request — our team will coordinate freight, customs, and last-mile placement at the destination.
What does payment look like for a custom piece?
A 50% deposit confirms the order and reserves your build slot in the atelier. The balance is due before dispatch. We'll share a transparent quote with material and labour breakdown after the consultation.
What if something needs repair years from now?
Every piece carries a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. Reupholstery, refinishing, and frame repair are handled in-house — a piece built today can be brought back to the workshop a decade from now and restored.
