SS Table — Austins SS Table - Austins

Black on chrome. Double-layered. Made to be seen.

"The SS Table is uncompromising — black panels, polished steel, angular geometry. There is no softness here. It suits people who want their furniture to have an edge, and it rewards the living rooms confident enough to place it at the centre."

The Making of the SS Table

Designed by Harsha

The SS Table was designed for contemporary rooms that want architecture in their furniture — a futuristic double-layered center table in black and polished stainless steel, low-rise and commanding. Made in Bangalore.

01

Black and Polished Chrome

A large matte to high-gloss black top panel and a smaller matching lower shelf sit within a mirror-polished stainless steel frame — the contrast between the dark surfaces and the reflective metal is deliberate and dramatic. ::

02

Precision Angular Welding

The angular sled-style stainless steel frame requires accurate cutting and welding at each geometric joint — any deviation in the angles is immediately visible in a structure this clean. ::

03

Double-Layer Load Distribution

The stainless steel sled frame supports both the primary top panel and the suspended lower shelf — the angular geometry distributes the combined load efficiently across the span without individual legs.

Frequently Asked

Before You Order

How long does it take to make the SS Table?
6–8 weeks from order confirmation. We build one piece at a time — frame first, then upholstery, then a final hand-finish — so the timeline reflects real bench-time, not warehouse stock.
Can I customise the dimensions, leather, or wood?
Yes. Almost every dimension can be adjusted within structural limits, and the leather and wood swatches shown are starting points — speak to a designer if you'd like us to source something specific.
How does delivery work, and where do you ship?
We deliver across India with white-glove placement included. International shipping is available on request — our team will coordinate freight, customs, and last-mile placement at the destination.
What does payment look like for a custom piece?
A 50% deposit confirms the order and reserves your build slot in the atelier. The balance is due before dispatch. We'll share a transparent quote with material and labour breakdown after the consultation.
What if something needs repair years from now?
Every piece carries a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. Reupholstery, refinishing, and frame repair are handled in-house — a piece built today can be brought back to the workshop a decade from now and restored.
