Echo Sofa — Austins Echo Sofa – Austins

Teal velvet. Walnut legs. The quiet centrepiece.

"The Echo was designed to be the sofa you stop overthinking and just sit on. The teal velvet was chosen because it holds light differently at every hour — and the quilted backrest was our way of giving the front face a character the rear silhouette doesn't need. Everything else is restraint."

The Making of the Echo Sofa

Designed by Harsha

The Echo was made for the room that is already sure of itself — the one that doesn't need much furniture to feel complete. Teal velvet, a quilted back, walnut legs. That is the whole sentence.

01

Teal Velvet

Peacock blue velvet with a directional pile that shifts from deep jewel tone to lighter teal as the angle of light changes. The colour has enough personality to anchor a room without overwhelming it. ::

02

Quilted Backrest

Button tufting on the front back panel requires each button to be individually set in a precise grid — even tension across the whole face so the diamond pattern reads consistently from seat to top edge. ::

03

Walnut Leg Joinery

Slim walnut tapered legs bear the full sofa load at four points. The leg-to-frame joinery must be solid enough to prevent any rocking or shift under repeated use — a test of the underlying craftsmanship.

Frequently Asked

Before You Order

How long does it take to make the Echo Sofa?
6–8 weeks from order confirmation. We build one piece at a time — frame first, then upholstery, then a final hand-finish — so the timeline reflects real bench-time, not warehouse stock.
Can I customise the dimensions, leather, or wood?
Yes. Almost every dimension can be adjusted within structural limits, and the leather and wood swatches shown are starting points — speak to a designer if you'd like us to source something specific.
How does delivery work, and where do you ship?
We deliver across India with white-glove placement included. International shipping is available on request — our team will coordinate freight, customs, and last-mile placement at the destination.
What does payment look like for a custom piece?
A 50% deposit confirms the order and reserves your build slot in the atelier. The balance is due before dispatch. We'll share a transparent quote with material and labour breakdown after the consultation.
What if something needs repair years from now?
Every piece carries a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. Reupholstery, refinishing, and frame repair are handled in-house — a piece built today can be brought back to the workshop a decade from now and restored.
