The idea was to make a table that felt as if it had been carved from a single material — solid, dense, almost geological — and then lift it off the floor on the finest possible legs. The burl pattern does all the ornament work. The lacquer just reveals what the wood already is.

Burl veneer has always been a luxury material choice — no two pieces share the same figure. The Stonewood takes that inherent richness and seals it under a high-gloss lacquer coat, then sets the whole mass on four gold legs that give it an almost weightless stance.

Dark burl-pattern veneer applied across all faces and rounded corners, then sealed under multiple coats of mirror lacquer — each coat flatted and polished to a flawless, deep-reflective finish. ::
Wrapping the Corners
Burl veneer must be precision-cut and carefully pressed around each softly rounded vertical edge without cracking or delaminating — a technically demanding stage where skilled hands make the difference. ::
The Monolithic Block
A structurally sound internal frame supports the box body under load while the slim gold legs transfer all weight to the floor — clean form requires confident engineering beneath the surface.
