The Regal pairs two curved walnut-shell barrel chairs with a black marble pedestal table — cream ribbed upholstery, angled legs with brass cap tips, and a two-tone column table base. A complete composition, made in Bangalore.

Vertically ribbed cream fabric on the seat and back interior contrasts with the smooth dark walnut curved shell exterior — two materials on the same chair, each requiring different construction precision and finishing care. ::

Ribbing Around the Barrel Curve

Ribbed upholstery must be precisely aligned across the curved barrel transition from seat to back — maintaining even vertical channel spacing around a curved form is a demanding upholstery task. ::

The dark walnut outer shell is both structural and decorative — a curved form that simultaneously supports the chair and provides its most distinctive visual character, requiring accurate bending and joinery.
