The challenge with a fully patterned top is density — each geometric element must be set precisely against its neighbour or the regularity of the pattern breaks down. Our craftspeople set each piece individually, grout and grind the surface flush, then polish it to a single level plane. The three turned legs below are their own craft act — the bobbin profiles require consistent tool pressure across the full leg height. Together they make a table that earns a long look at close range.
The Making of the Mosaico Side Table

At our Bangalore workshop, the Pattern Side Table top begins as a prepared wood disc before each tile element is individually set into the surface — a dense geometric mosaic that takes considerable time to complete without imperfection. The legs are turned separately on the lathe, their bobbin profiles matching the rhythm of the Orange Side Table legs, placing both firmly in the same heritage-craft family.
The Mosaic Top
Individual stone or ceramic elements hand-placed in a dense geometric grid across the round top — cream, grey, and amber on a dark-bordered field, polished to a single surface plane. ::
The Tile Setting
Each element is individually placed, grouted, and ground flush by hand — the regularity of the pattern reflects hours of measured craft rather than mechanical repetition. ::
The Bobbin Legs
Three deeply turned sheesham legs carry multiple bobbin profiles along each leg's full height — lathe craftsmanship in dialogue with the hand-craft above.
