The brief was simple: make a sofa that needs nothing else around it. The integrated arm tables are not an afterthought — they are baked into the form from the first sketch. Long-pile bouclé was chosen because it turns the curved form into something tactile, almost alive. The dark puck feet and dark table discs repeat the same design language in two scales: a whisper at the base, a clear statement at the arms. Upholstering this curve in long-pile bouclé without pile disruption at the seams took our team several iterations to perfect.
The Making of the Lunara Sofa

Long-pile bouclé is one of the most demanding materials we work with in our Bangalore atelier. The loops must lie consistently across every curved panel, seams must vanish into the texture, and the pile direction must follow the form as it arcs from arm to arm. The reward is a surface that looks different in every light.
Cloud-Pile Bouclé
Long-pile looped bouclé in warm off-white — each fibre irregularly looped for a surface that is never the same twice, in any light.
Built-In Side Tables
Two dark circular arm tables are integral to the sofa form — a flat disc of near-black surface on each arm, flush and permanent.
The Seamless Arc
The back sweeps from one arm end to the other with no hard corner, no break — one continuous curve that enfolds without confining.
