Doppio Oro Dining Table — Austins Doppio Oro Dining Table – Austins

Twin fan-form gold pedestals. White marble top. Two-tone chairs — a dining experience designed to be noticed.

The twin fan pedestals were born from the question: what if the base did as much visual work as the top? A marble slab is already beautiful — the challenge was to give it a foundation that matched its ambition. The open fan form lets light pass through the base, which changes how the whole piece reads across the day.

The Making of the Doppio Oro Dining Table

Designed by Harsha

Two gold fan-form pedestals carry a white marble slab in an arrangement that feels both sculptural and generous. The four sand-beige side chairs and two terracotta end chairs are an intentional choice — the colour counterpoint within the set is the detail that makes it complete.

01

White Marble & Gold Metal

A large natural marble slab paired with precision-fabricated polished gold fan pedestals — two materials at opposite ends of the natural-industrial spectrum, brought together in one generous dining statement. ::

02

Fan Blades Polished True

Each fan pedestal requires cutting, bending, and welding individual metal blades at consistent angles, then mirror-polishing the assembled form to a flawless gold finish — meticulous fabrication work. ::

03

Engineering the Float

Supporting a heavy marble top on two open fan pedestals demands careful structural calculation at the pedestal-to-top attachment points — confident engineering gives the table its signature floating quality.

Frequently Asked

Before You Order

How long does it take to make the Doppio Oro Dining Table?
6–8 weeks from order confirmation. We build one piece at a time — frame first, then upholstery, then a final hand-finish — so the timeline reflects real bench-time, not warehouse stock.
Can I customise the dimensions, leather, or wood?
Yes. Almost every dimension can be adjusted within structural limits, and the leather and wood swatches shown are starting points — speak to a designer if you'd like us to source something specific.
How does delivery work, and where do you ship?
We deliver across India with white-glove placement included. International shipping is available on request — our team will coordinate freight, customs, and last-mile placement at the destination.
What does payment look like for a custom piece?
A 50% deposit confirms the order and reserves your build slot in the atelier. The balance is due before dispatch. We'll share a transparent quote with material and labour breakdown after the consultation.
What if something needs repair years from now?
Every piece carries a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. Reupholstery, refinishing, and frame repair are handled in-house — a piece built today can be brought back to the workshop a decade from now and restored.
