When the kitchen island dims and the LED halo ignites, this stool becomes the warmest vertical in the room — gold frame, amber light, beige seat, and the particular pleasure of a well-made thing.
The arc footrest at the base was the last design decision and the one I am most pleased with. A straight bar would have been adequate; the arc says the whole object was considered to the floor. The LED routing through the rung junctions required us to treat electrical integration as a metalwork problem — every junction had to be clean enough that the light reads as intrinsic, not installed.
The Making of the Dorato Bar Stool

Fabricated at our Bangalore atelier in gold-finished steel, the bar stool's ladder frame is welded at every rung junction before the LED strip is threaded invisibly through the internal frame channel. The beige upholstery pads — seat and backrest — are cut and fitted last, and the curved arc footrest is welded to specification to contact the floor at two clean points.

LED Routing Through Frame
Threading the LED strip through a multi-rung ladder frame with clean wire management at every junction requires treating electrical integration as a metalwork precision task — the result glows as if the frame were the source. ::
Arc Footrest Engineering
The curved U-arc footrest at the base is welded to carry a seated person's full weight through two vertical rails, providing stability without cross-bracing — a structural and aesthetic solution in one.
