Eliminating the legs was the key decision — the U-frame profile makes the table feel architectural rather than merely functional. Mirror-polishing the steel to this level requires progressive buffing through multiple grit stages, each pass by hand. The dark stone top is selected for its veining — subtle, not dramatic — because the material story here is about restraint: three materials, each doing exactly one thing with absolute clarity.
The Making of the Marmo Coffee Table

In our Bangalore metalwork studio, the Silver G frame is cut, welded, and progressively hand-buffed through multiple grit stages until the steel achieves its mirror finish. Each dark stone top is individually selected for veining quality before being fitted within the frame. The smoked glass lower shelf is inset and anchored at the frame's lower register — a composition of three materials built to a single horizontal logic.

Black marble or dark granite, naturally veined — each top unique, its veining the only surface ornament in an otherwise unadorned composition. ::
The Mirror Polish
The chrome frame is hand-buffed through multiple progressive grit stages to achieve a mirror finish — each pass revealing the next imperfection to remove. ::
The U-Profile
A single continuous U-form replaces separate legs — the steel frame is structure and silhouette in the same component, an architectural solution at furniture scale.
