The fringe at the top rail of each chair was the deliberate moment of artisanal freedom in an otherwise disciplined lattice pattern. Every strand of the lattice must be tensioned consistently — a slip in the weave shows immediately. But the fringe is where the craftsperson's hand is most visible: knotted individually, allowed to be slightly organic. The set's coherence comes from using exactly the same navy rope and the same teak across chairs and table — three pieces that read as one composed outdoor room.
The Making of the Marina Outdoor Set

Each chair in this set is hand-woven in our Bangalore workshop — navy rope laid in a disciplined lattice across a solid teak frame, then finished at the top rail with individual knotted fringe. The table drum base follows the same rope-wrap discipline in a radial pattern. Charcoal outdoor cushions are cut and filled in-house, then set loosely for comfort and easy care.
The Navy Cord
Weather-rated rope in deep navy/indigo, woven in a horizontal-vertical lattice across every chair back — the same cord radially wrapped around the table drum base for complete set coherence. ::
The Fringe Rail
The knotted fringe at each chair's top rail is hand-applied after weaving — individual knots set at slightly organic intervals, the artisan's signature on an otherwise disciplined structure. ::

Solid teak legs — honey-warm, naturally oiled — support both chairs and table with structural confidence designed for seasonal exposure and the weight of years.
